If you want to maintain the originality of the hammers without replacing it with a new one, there is the alternative called refelting. This is to replace only the worn felt preserving the wooden structure of the hammers.
It is a possible operation for UP (if the "cores" of the hammers are sufficiently thick).
On request we can press them in various hardness soft, medium-hard, hard to approach the desired sound (Remember: it does not exclude the operation of final assembly, adjustment and intonation performed by a qualified technician).
To send hammers and its worn felting, please follow these guidelines:
► All hammers must be sent with the hammer shanks and nuts for UP or bars with forks to queue
► The hammer shanks must have their numbers marked in progressive hammer, walnut or crutch 1-2-3-4 etc.
► Have a stable packaging
► Specify any changes (hardness, with underfelt, impregnated etc.)
